National Indigenous Peoples Day is a national celebration of the heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding achievements of First Nations, Inuit and Métis throughout Canada.

Huronia Historical Parks is proud to be a part of highlighting the achievements of Indigenous peoples through our education-focused celebration each year. In 2023, we welcomed 2,800 people to our historic site on June 21 as well as 26,700 virtual guests to our online learning platform,

If you would like to be considered as a presenter for Sainte-Marie’s National Indigenous Peoples’ Day celebration, we invite you apply. You can offer in-person presentations/demonstrations, or pre-recorded video presentations/demonstrations to engage students and guests from across Canada and beyond.
