Mother’s Day Garden Tea Party
Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10 at 1 p.m.

High Tea Highlights: Delight in this carefully-prepared, traditional, three-tiered tea service on our beautiful patio or in our cozy dining room.

- Fresh sweet berry bannock and cornbread
- House-baked blueberry and cranberry orange scones served with jam

Hearth To Table
Hearth to Table is returning this year to bring authentic 17th-century dishes and cooking methods back to life, to give you a taste of what life was like back in 1648! With menus carefully constructed by Restaurant Sainte-Marie and set in the historic chapel on site, you won’t want to miss out on this truly unique dining experience.
Due to the unique ingredients, recipes, and presentation for this menu, Sainte-Marie cannot accommodate dietary restrictions and requests. All dining experiences must be booked in advance.

Three-Course Dinner
Choose one appetizer:
- Smoked salmon and dill cream bannock canapes
- Bison meatloaf spheres, skewered and wrapped in bacon with a mozzarella center
- Three sisters squash fritters
- Three sisters and ricotta crispy squash blossoms
Choose one main course:
- Maple baked salmon with lemon rice and seasonal vegetable
- Lake Erie pickerel lemon pepperer or cajun served with lemon rice and seasonal vegetables
- Red wine and longhouse lager-braised bison ribs with mashed potatos and seasonal vegetables
- Slow -braised rabbit ragout in red wine and tomato with carrots, onions, celery and herbs served over Herritage egg ribbons
- 4oz venison grilled steak with mashed, seasonal vegetables and red wine blueberry reduction
Choose one dessert:
- Berry bannock shortcake with traditional wojapi (berry pudding)
- Maple mouse with candied peacans
- Homemade maple pudding
- Warm bannock beignets stuffed with wojapi (berry pudding)
What time should I arrive for my dinner experience?
This is a decadent, three-course dinner service. For the best experience, we highly recommend you check in a Restaurant Sainte-Marie at the seating time above. We suggest you allocate a minimum of two hours for your meal.
Are substitutions or special diet requests accommodated?
Substitutions are available upon request. We recommend you contact Restaurant Sainte-Marie in advance to ensure the best service. Call Tammy at 705-321-2912.
Can we add more people if there aren’t enough available tickets?

Is this dinner and tour fully accessible?
Yes! We’re happy to accommodate guests of all abilities. Note that paths may be muddy depending on weather conditions.
Are dogs permitted?
While we love your furry friends, only service animals are allowed during this evening experience for the benefit of all guests and participants.
Does this event happen rain or shine?
Yes! Please dress for the weather. Although much of the experience happens in our modern restaurant and historical buildings, some outdoor walking is required. Paths may be muddy.
Is parking free?
Yes! There is ample free parking available at Sainte-Marie among the Hurons.
Are season passes valid for this experience?
No. Because of the limited seating capacity for this experience, season passes are not eligible for free admission.
Where do I check in for the dinner and tour experience?
If you have booked a dinner and tour package, please start your experience at Restaurant Sainte-Marie instead of the main entrance to the historic site. After dinner, you’ll be invited to proceed to admission to begin your evening tour.
Is this tour and dinner experience suitable for children?
This experience is designed and recommended for children 13 and up.
Is a free lantern included in the cost of the experience?
Lanterns belong to Sainte-Marie among the Hurons. They will be provided at the start of the on-site experience and must be returned at the end of the tour. However, souvenir lanterns are available for purchase in the gift shop at the end of your visit.

Restaurant Sainte-Marie is the ideal setting for your small corporate party, luncheon meeting, wedding reception or family function. Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of this 17th-century styled room and its bright patio. The restaurant can accommodate up to 175, and the outdoor patio has a capacity of 260 people.
